  1. Peace & QuietDursey is one of the most picturesque spots in Ireland and the perfect spot to recharge your batteries. Allihies and Eyeries are similarly beautiful and are also home to thriving artistic communities.

  2. Action & Adventure: A round of golf in Castletownbere, sailing in Adrigole, trout-fishing in Ardgroom, diving near Kenmare...there's no shortage of activities to get your adrenaline pumping in Beara.

  3. Fine Dining & Retail Therapy: Straddling both the Beara Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry, Kenmare is a bustling little town with award winning hotels, restaurants and lots of gallery's selling local crafts and artwork.

  4. Traditional Music & Irish Pubs: It's never too hard to find a pub in Ireland and impromptu music sessions can spark up at the drop of a hat. Castletownbere, Glengarriff and Kenmare are the most likely spots.
