Spend an extra night in Dingle if you like...Deserted Islands: Take a short boat trip from Dunquin/Slea Head to the Blasket Islands - a place steeped in history and literary culture. The Blasket Islands are a reminder of life in Ireland many years ago. Swimming/Kayaking with 'Fungi': 25 years ago, a lovable bottle-nosed dolphin showed up in Dingle Harbour and has been making friends ever since. An early morning swim/paddle with 'Fungi' is a "must-do" in Dingle! Action & Adventure: Deep sea diving in Castlegregory, horse-riding in Dingle, wind-surfing in Cloghane or, for something completely different, pottery making in the famous Louis Mulcahy Workshop in Ballyferriter. Traditional Music & Irish Pubs: Formerly owned by Tom Crean - a local man who accompanied both Scott and Shackleton on their Antarctic adventures - the South Pole Inn in Annascaul is a pub packed with a thousand memories.
