Hill Walking in Dingle - 8-Day - Guided  DAY 1: Transfer to Annascaul You will be collected from Shannon Airport (pickup 2.30pm) or Tralee (pickup 4.30pm) and transferred to Annascaul – once home to the legendary Antarctic explorer, Tom Crean. Day 2: Camp to Annascaul • Distance 16km • 5 - 7 hours • Max Height 234m We visit an old famine village as we cross the peninsula from north to south - following a beautiful old track that offers stunning views towards the Kerry Peninsula. DAY 3: Lough Annascaul Loop • Distance 14km • 4 - 6 hours • Max Height 300m Today's walk follows one of Ireland's national looped trails and leads us into into a glacial valley where we discover the peaceful surroundings of Lough Annascaul. 
Day 4: Blasket Islands • Distance 16km • 4.5 - 6 hours • Max Height 292m Weather permitting, we will take the short boat trip to the Blasket Islands and visit the deserted villages which have reamined empty since the last of the islanders finally left in 1953. DAY 5: Ventry to Slea Head • Distance 13km • 4.5 - 6.5 hours • Max Height 516m After a beautiful walk along the golden sands of Ventry beach, we will make our way to the summit of Mount Eagle. The Atlantic Ocean stretches out in front of you - all the way to North America. DAY 6: Cuas to Cloghane • Distance 16km • 5 - 7 hours • Max Height 660m We climb over the shoulder of Mount Brandon - the holy mountain where St Brendan is said to have meditated before setting sail for America in the 6th Century. DAY 7: Paternoster Lakes • Distance 14km • 5 - 7 hours • Max Height 630-951m Staying in the shadow of Mt Brandon, we follow a series of glacial lake towards the upper peaks of the mountain. Weather (and energy levels) permitting, we may even attempt to reach the summit! DAY 8: Depart Cloghane Transfer to Tralee leaves Cloghane at 9.30am. From Tralee, there are regular bus/train connections to Dublin, Cork & Shannon Airport.
