"I had a great time. It was a beautiful area and a great way to experience it. I liked that Hillwalk offered lots of options to tailor the walk along the route that most interested me. I also liked that the detail provided on the Hillwalk site made it easy to compare route options. It was very easy to plan -- as I didn't initially know how long I'd spend on the Beara Peninsula -- and book online. All the guesthouses were very nice and friendly with excellent breakfasts. My luggage always beat me to the next guesthouse, so I had a change of clothes after hiking. I'd recommend Hillwalk because of the ability to customize routes and length of walk. I wouldn't worry about the guesthouses as all the ones I encountered were great. I would also recommend Hillwalk as it was easy to set things up -- the detail on the web site, the ability to book online and I didn't book with a great deal of notice and you were able to organize everything very quickly."

Every time we arrived at the next address the luggage was waiting for us. The walking pack was everything we needed, although sometimes the route didn't fit with the map, but you warned us about this.
