The Sheep's Head is full of fun things to do. So, if you want a break from walking, we are happy to organise an extra night's accommodation for you anywhere along the route.

Here is a selection of some great idea's for a free day on the Sheep's Head! 

Spend an extra night on the Sheep's Head Peninsula if you like...

1. Peace & Quiet: Kilcrohane & Glanlough must be some of the most relaxed, chilled-out places in the whole world. If you're looking to completely switch off, these are the places for you.

2. Local Art Gallery's: Each weekend, the Heron Art Gallery near Durrus hosts creative workshops where you will experience everything from plate decorating to percussion sessions.

3. Bicycle trips: The roads around the Sheep's Head are perfect for exploring the peninsula by bike - stunning, quiet and relatively flat. Bicycle rental is available in Bantry and Kilcrohane. 

4. Adventure and Activities: Whether it's scuba diving in Bantry or kayaking in Durrus, dig below the surface and you'll find plenty of excitement on the Sheep's Head Peninsula.

The cost of an extra night on all our Sheep's Head walking tours is €40 per person per night or €50 for single walkers who have their own private room.
