Spend an extra night in the West of Ireland if you like...Peace & Quiet: Probably the prettiest village in Ireland, Leenane in Connemara is the perfect place to just relax and do nothing. Or take a trip to the majestic Ballintubber Abbey near Westport. Action & Adventure: But, if you want more excitement, Leenane has plenty of that too with local adventure centres offering everything from kayaking and surfing to abseiling and bungee jumping! Fishing: Lough Corrib near Oughterard is renowned the world over as an ideal spot for trout fishing. If you like, we can organise a small boat for you to spend a peaceful day on the lake. Traditional Music & Irish Pubs: The Aran Islands and Westport are well-known strongholds of Irish music. You never have to go too far to hear the the beat of a bodhrán and the merry tune of an Irish fiddle.
